The long awaited visual feast of Manchu Multi Starrer hit theaters early on Friday. Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda has generated a lot of buzz as almost all the actors from the Manchu family were seen together for the first time on the big screen. After the first show on Friday, most of Manchu family fans felt the movie worth watching at least once. The audience felt that the title derived from KVMahadevan’s composition best suits the movie’s theme.

Analysis:

The chemistry between the Manchu family members appears to be an asset to the movie. Mohra girl Raveena Tandon looks good on screen despite the fact that she has faced arc lights after a long time. It’s worth mentioning here that she was a popular leading lady in Bollywood once upon a time. She can perhaps use this as a comeback movie for her second spell in tinsel town.

 As expected, Mohan Babu has given his best and displayed his acting skills in the movie. Baba Seghal’s music which was to be the highlight in the movie, however, doesn't touch a chord with the audience. The number fails to garner the expected praise. The story is nothing out of the ordinary. The topic has been done to death.

However, the Manchu family has shouldered the entire responsibility of pulling it off. The audience was seen enjoying the jokes at some points during the movie. Overall, despite few setbacks, the movie turns out to be an entertainer.

Banner: Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies Producer: Puri Jagannadh Director: Puri Jagannadh Music: Anoop Roobens Casting:  Nitin, Adah Sharma,Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Ali, Ajay, Azaz Khan and others Rating:  2.5/5.0 Story Nithin is in high spirits after two consecutive hits ‘Ishq’ and ‘Gunde Jaari Gallatayinde’.Puri Jagannadh is in bad phase with his recent films failed miserably at box office.  Puri wants to come out of the lean phase while Nitin wants to score a hatrick with ‘Heart Attack’. Are they successful? The story revolves around a globetrotter Nithin (Varun) and a beautiful Hayati (Adah Sharma). Varun bumps into Hayati in Spain and get attracted to her. But, happy go lucky Varun was all after Hayati for a lip lock but with no strings attached.  Hayati rejects his idea and proposal initially, but fell for him after few meetings. Hayati didn’t want to reveal her love towards him after knowing his stand on love or marriage. The big turning point comes when Varun asks Hayati to meet him one last time in Arena before he leaves Spain for good. Hayati meets him at Arena and gives him the Lip lock and requests him not to see her again. Varun realises that he is in deep love with Hayati after going to Romania. Now, Varun starts searching for her and finds her in Goa just before her wedding with Makharand (Vikram Jeet). What happens next? Watch the climax in theaters. Performance Nitin performed well as a hippy with free soul. He is terrific in action scenes and worth watching. Need to work on his dialogue delivery in emotional scenes. Adah Sharma did a commendable job in her debut film. Her body language and expressions are well suited for the role. Dubbing artist did a good job and elevated her role. Brahmanandam as Iskon Ramana and Ali as Rajani are below par in comedy department. Their roles didn’t etch well. Kesha justified her role as Priya. Nicole appears in a song. Prakash Raj appears in a brief role towards climax. Vikram Jeet is terrific in villain role. Well supported by Azaz Khan and Ajay. Technical Puri Jagannadh chose a romantic love story this time. Unfortunately, the script is routine and the screenplay is flat. Puri is also known for good dialogues, but the dialogues in this movie are not impressive. Editing is good. The big plus for the movie is Music and background score. Anup Rubens is at his best. Amol Rathod cinematography is top notch. Ram Laxman fights are highlight for the movie. Plus Points Nitin Adah Sharma Music and background score Fights Cinematography Minus Points Story and screenplay Dialogues Comedy Climax Analysis When you announce a movie as love story, audience will expect few romantic encounters between the lead pair. Unfortunately, you hardly find them in Puri screenplay. You will get to see the lead pair all by themselves only in couple of scenes. Though you see some flashes in Puri direction, the narration never engages you at any point of time. Climax is routine and predictable. Puri said ‘Heart Attack’ is another ‘Idiot’ and surely impress the audience. Even though ‘Idiot’ is also a simple love story, the mass elements, Ravi Teja body language and his mannerism made it huge success. Nitin is not in class of Ravi Teja and Puri tried his best to work with Nitin positives giving little scope for mass elements in the movie. Comedy which is the major factor for films success nowadays took back seat in the movie. Final Talk ‘Heart Attack’ is an average movie if you go with no expectations. Movie might go well will urban youth who love to watch love stories with some action.

Finally they get married much against their parents wishes and moves to Hyderabad after Akash gets promotion. Trouble starts when Meenakshi joins a software company as Akash starts doubting her character. Where it will lead to in their marriage life should be seen on screen. Performance Happy Days fame Rahul irritates with his ascent in the beginning but viewers get used to it as the story moves on. He is ok but must improve a lot if he should grade to the next level. Shraya was used only for skin show and she scorched on screen. Many feel she crossed all limits shedding almost everything. Others got inconsequential roles. Sanjana too sizzled in a item number. Technical Production values are ok. Cinematography of Gopinath is below average. Though JB's music is ok, Background score is too loud. Director Govi failed totally as he concentrated more on skin show rather than content of the film. Plus Points Nothing Shravya's glamour Minus Points Many Director Hero,Heroine Routine Story Analysis Govi selected a routine plot like how suspicion spoils relations in a marriage. But instead of addressing the problem, he depended on crude jokes and skin show of heroine to score a hit. Dialogues are bad and this showed the cheap taste of the filmmakers. Slow narration, childish script and weak performances failed the film.

Starring Ramcharan and Shruthi Hassan,and Allu Arjun,Kajal in cameo roles,with succesful Producer ‘Dil Raju’ producing the movie,Vamsi Paidipally directing it with awesome music director DSP ‘Yevadu’ probably is the most awaited movie from past few months.Audio event of the movie has been done on July 1st,2013.The movie is expected to hit screen in the monthof august.But after several postponements finally ‘Yevadu’  has joined the Pongal Race.So let us know how the movie was..!!

Story :

Satya (Allu Arjun) and Kajal (Deepthi) are lovers.Dheeru Bhai (Rahul Dev) has interest in Kajal.As Kajal hates violence they run away to get married.But Villians kill Kajal parents andattack Satya(Bunny).They kill Kajal and beat up Satya (Bunny) and fire the bus in which he is there.Allu Arjun survives but his faces gets seriously burnt.Then Jayasudha (Doctor) executesPlastic Surgery in which the vocals also change.Allu Arjun gets a New avatar with this.Now he sets on a Mission to kill the people responsible for Kajal’s death.One by one he takes revenge on all the 3 persons responsible for that.He takes the help of  Amy Jackson in doing so.But what happens next?? What is the role Shruthi Hassan?? What is Sai Kumar’s Role?All these twists  form the main part of the story.

Performances :

Allu Arjun and Kajal have a limited part to play.They were perfect for the role assigned.RamCharan gave a good performance especially in the action sequences and songs.Shruthi Hassan role is a pretty short one.He looks gorgeous in the 2  songs given to her.Jayasudha and Saikumar’s performances need a special mention.Dialogues  uttered by them came out excellently and gave the needed enthusiasm to the movie.Kota Srinivas rao’s role is fine with humour touch.Brahmanandam’s comedy track is not as expected.It could produce only few laughters at times.

Technical Performances :

Starting off with the music. DSP gave some good tunes to the movie.Freedom and Nee Jathaga songs are well received by the people.Back Ground Music by DSP is superb in the movie.In Fact, BGM gave life to most of the action sequences and important scenes in the movie.Cinematography is good.Story by Vakkantham Vamsi is quite different.Revenge drama in a different genre.Dialogues penned by Abburi ravi were good.Many dialogues got tremendous response.Stunts were perfect.All the murder sequences were well shot.Director Vamsi Paidipally was clear with his script and narrated it perfectly.

Analysis :

Surely,Yevadu is a commercial movie blended with an interesting twist.But,with Brahmanandam and others involved in it some good comedy is expected from the movie.But the comedy is not upto the mark.Excluding some main twists yevadu is a routine revenge drama.For now,with ’1′ getting a negative talk , Yevadu might be received well especially by commercial /mass movie lovers.It might perform well at the Box-Office too. Talk from the Benefit and Premier shows is good.The makers have reduced the costs of premiers in Overseas .All these factors can help Yevadu to earn to profits with Pongal Holidays on..!!

Verdict : A time-pass movie for this Sankranthi.Don’t look for any Special or Wow factor in it.Go without any expectations.You will get surprised with the twists and enjoy the movie.Feast for fans with excellent action episodes.!!

So, this sankranthi ‘Yevadu’ can get  a one time watch like his previous movies Racha and Naayak..!!

Story

1 Nenokkadine is a story of a Rock Star in search of his own identity. Gautham (Mahesh Babu) is a big Rock Star who believes that he has a bitter past that his parents were killed by three men while the whole world think that Gautham is an orphan with no credible past and is suffering from psychological disorder.  Doctors who examined Gautham also declares that Gautham is suffering from neuro psychological deficiency and is the reason for his belief about his past.

As the story progress, Goutham gets more reasons to believe in his belief that his parents were killed by three villains. How Goutham got clues about his parent’s killers and how he took revenge is the rest of the story.

Performance:

Mahesh Babu delivered it once again. His energetic performance in action scenes and super action in emotional scenes deserves kudos to the superstar.

Kriti Sanon as TV journalist justified her role. This lanky heroine is hot and sexy in songs.

Nasser, Pradeep Rawat and Kelly Dorge are as usual in the antagonist roles. Posani role is little relief in a comic role as cab driver. Sayaji Shindey and Srinivas Reddy appears in brief roles.

Mahesh Babu’s son Gautham had a commendable debut as young Mahesh Babu. He is star kid to watch in future.

Technical:

If Mahesh Babu runs the show on screen, it is all Sukumar show behind the scene. Though the story is a typical revenge drama, screenplay is quite new to Tollywood audience. Good direction with engrossing screenplay is all you need to make it a good film. Sukumar engaged the audience with his screenplay in this movie.

Devi Sri music and background score is good. All the songs are good. Ratnavelu DOP is excellent. Peter Haynes action scenes are excellent. Karthik Srinivas could have edit some length in second half . Production values are high.

Analysis:

I Nenokkadine is an excellent action thriller. Mahesh Babu’s performance is main highlight. Sukumar direction and screenplay gives you a feel of Hollywood film. The first Half of the film is very interesting with protagonist confusing between real and unreal often confusing the audience. But as the story reaches interval, director gives more clarity to the audience.  Second Half is more of a revenge plot with prolonged climax. Climax could have trimmed by at least 15 minutes. The last 15 minutes is watchable only because of Mahesh Babu excellent emotions. Chelia Chelia is a big speed breaker to the story and could have easily avoided.

Though the film is excellent, there are some limitations to its success at the box office. It will be interesting to see how audience will sync with the brilliance of Sukumar’s screenplay. Film length is almost 3 hours which is way too lengthy. Lack of mass elements and comedy deter the chances of film at the Box office success.

Final Talk:

if you are looking for pure masala pot boiler, this film is not for you. The film will be appealed to those who like Hollywood action thrillers with gripping screenplay.  Don’t expect ‘Dookudu’ or ‘Businessman’ kind of dialogues from Mahesh Babu. He is one serious guy on a mission in this movie.

నేనెవరిని? ( ‘1’ నేనొక్కడినే రివ్యూ)

కొత్తగా ఎప్పుడు ఏం చెప్పినా తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకుడు చూస్తున్నాడు...సూపర్ హిట్ చేస్తున్నాడు. అలాగని కొత్త పేరు చెప్పి కథ విడిచి సాము చేస్తే మాత్రం నిర్విర్ధంగా తిరస్కరిస్తున్నాడు. ‘1' నేనొక్కడినే సినిమాలో దర్శకుడు కొత్తదనం కోసం(సాంకేతికంగా,జెనర్ పరంగా) చేసిన ప్రయత్నం మాత్రం తప్పకుండా మెచ్చుకోవాల్సిన అంశం. అయితే మహేష్ వంటి స్టార్ హీరోల సినిమాలంటే ఖచ్చితంగా వాటినుంచి ప్రేక్షకులు ఎక్సపెక్ట్ చేసే అంశాలు కొన్ని ఉంటాయి. వాటిని వదిలేయకుండా తనదైన శైలిలో కథను సుకుమార్ చెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తే బాగుండేదనిపిస్తుంది. అయితే థ్రిల్లర్ నేరేషన్ కావటంతో అది ...కమర్షియల్ హీరో కథలా..హీరోనే హైలెట్ చేస్తూ...కథనం నడపటం కష్టమైపోయింది. తెలుగు సినిమాకు తగినట్లు కథ,కథనంలో మరిన్ని జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకుని సెకండాఫ్ ని సైతం ఫస్టాఫ్ లాగ స్పీడుగా రన్ నడిపితే ఖచ్చితంగా అంచనాలు అందుకునేది. అయితే మహేష్ మాత్రం తన నటనతో మైమరిపించాడనే చెప్పాలి. ఈ చిత్రానికి నేనొక్కడినే అని కాకుండా...నేనెవరిని అని పెడిగితే బాగుండేదనిపిస్తుంది. గౌతమ్(మహేష్)...చిన్నప్పుడే తల్లి తండ్రులను కోల్పోతాడు. తన తల్లి తండ్రులను ముగ్గురు చంపారని గుర్తుపెట్టుకుంటాడు..కాని వాళ్లు ఎవరు..ఎందుకు చంపారు అనేది మాత్రం తెలియకుండానే పెరిగి పెద్దవుతాడు. తన తల్లి తండ్రుల ముఖాలు మర్చిపోతాడు కానీ వారిని చంపిన వారిని మాత్రం ప్రతీ క్షణం తలుచుకుంటూ రాక్ స్టార్ గా ఎదుగుతాడు. ఎదుగుదలతో పాటు తన తల్లి తండ్రి ఎవరు అనే విషయం తెలుసుకోవాలనే కోరిక పెరిగి పెద్దవుతుంది...అంతేకాదు..వారిని చంపిన వారిపై పగ తీర్చుకోవాలనే నిర్ణయించుకుంటాడు. ఈ లోగా అతినిపై దాడులు మొదలువుతాయి..ఈ క్రమంలో గౌతమ్ తల్లి తండ్రులు ఎవరనేది ఎలా తెలుసుకున్నాడు..తన పగ ఎలా తీర్చుకున్నాడనేది మిగతా కథ. (థ్రిల్లర్ జానర్ లో వచ్చిన చిత్రం కావటంతో ఇంతకు మించి కథను రివిల్ చేస్తే చూడటం ఇబ్బందవుతుంది కాబట్టి...కథలో ఎలిమెంట్స్ ఏవీ రివిల్ చేయటం లేదు..)

టెక్నికల్ గా సినిమా హాలీవుడ్ సినిమాల స్ధాయిలో హై స్టాండర్డ్స్ లో ఉండాలని సుకుమార్ ఫిక్సై తీసాడని మొదటి ఫ్రేమ్ నుంచే అర్దమవుతుంది. అయితే విభిన్నతే విజయానికి మూలం అని నమ్మిన సుకుమార్..ఇక్కడ మన వాళ్ల టేస్ట్ ఎందుకనో మర్చిపోయారు . ముఖ్యంగా ఇలాంటి కథలు ఏ ఇమేజీ లేని హీరోల మీద తీస్తే...చూడటానికి బాగుంటాయి. మహేష్ బాబు సినిమా అంటే కామెడీ, యాక్షన్,మోతిక్కించే పాటలు, జోష్ గా తెరపై చెలరేగే హీరో అని ఫిక్సయిన వారికి చూడటానికి ఇబ్బందిగానే ఉంటుంది. అందులోనూ హీరో ...ఎంతసేపు తన గతం తవ్వుకుంటూ, విలన్స్ నుంచి తనను తాను రక్షించుకుంటూ తిరగటమే సరిపోతుంది తప్ప..విలన్స్ కి ఎదురు ట్విస్ట్ లు ఇచ్చే ఎలిమెంట్స్ ఈ కథలో బాగా తక్కువ ఉన్నాయి. అసలు విలన్ ఎవరో తెలిస్తేనే కదా వారిపై దాడికి దిగేది ..అది క్లైమాక్స్ దాకా తెలియదు...అందులోనూ కథని థ్రిల్లింగ్ చెప్పాలనే తాపత్రయంలో కొంత కన్ఫూజన్ కి గురి అయ్యింది. ముఖ్యంగా ఇంటర్వెల్ దాటాక అయితే మరీను. ఫస్టాఫ్ ని ...ఎంతో పగడ్బందీగా నడిపిన దర్శకుడు సెకండాఫ్ ని ఆ ఫేజ్ లో రన్ చేయలేకపోయాడు.
